Our board is made up of 11, like-minded members, who strive to make our community a better place, one friendly face at a time. We also have a great crew of "extended members" who attend meetings, bring many ideas to the table and help with the planning and executing of all of our events. This group, as a whole, makes up an amazing group of volunteers who put forth the time and effort to see that our community is always at the top of our list. Giving is one of the greatest feelings, and we love nothing more than to give back all that we can.
Nick has been a member of this great band of volunteers since 2014. He's a lifetime resident of Williston, other than a 5 year jaunt at NDSU. He is also a board member on the Pool Action Committee. He's an Architect with JLG, lifetime member of the Cliffhangers 4x4 Club, and proud husband to his wife Molly. They have 2 kids, Izzy & Mason
Amanda has had the pleasure of serving the WCB's Board for the past 8 years. She is a CPA at Lee Suess and was born and raised in the area. She is also a board member on the Pool Action Committee. She is married to her husband, Brett, and they have one beautiful little girl, Quinn.
Meagan started coming to WCB meetings 3 years ago. She was seeing what we were doing for the community and because Williston is home for her and her family, she wanted so badly to help out. Her and her husband Jeff own Mach 1 Property Services and have two kiddos, Joel & Paige. She is originally from Colorado and wants to be in Williston until the kids graduate, so she is here for a long time!
Haley joined Williston Community Builders in June of 2022 to become more active in the community. She is an accountant with Lee Suess. Haley is originally from Ray, but now resides in Williston. In her free time she enjoys helping on the family farm, traveling, scrapbooking, and is an avid fan of the Bachelor franchise.
Falon is one of the "Original" Friendly Faces and does her best to make Williston the best it can be! She is always overly caffeinated, hopelessly optimistic, stubborn and BUSY! A lifelong Williston resident, she tries to "Be The Good" as much as possible! She's always ready with a pocket full of glitter. She is married to her husband, Chase and has 3 kids,
Malakai - 17, Harlow - 10 & Soren - 8
Heather has been a part of Williston Community Builders for 6 years. She has called Williston home her whole life and is blessed to live in such a great community. She is also the President of Basin Kruzers car club. In July 2023, she took a promotion with Liberty Energy as Office Manager. She also works for the family business, Stevens Auctioneer Services, cashiering their auctions. In her free time she loves traveling and spending time with family and friends. She has 2 furbabies, Bentley and Chevelle and her and her boyfriend Terry just welcomed her first baby, Emersyn, in April!
Emily has been involved with WCB for 3 years! She is originally from Watford City, and currently lives and works in Williston as an attorney. She is a huge outdoor enthusiast and loves hiking, biking, canoeing, snowboarding, and camping with her husband Allen.
Janie joined Community Builders in April of 2021. After teaching in District #1, she stayed home and started a licensed daycare. She now owns/directs a local daycare center. Her and her husband Jeremy moved to Williston almost 11 years ago. They have three kids, Reese (8) Halle (6) Leif (3). They love being involved in the community through church, their kids' activities & school, and serving through groups like Community Builders.
Ashley has been involved with Community Builders for over 3 years. Her role within the group is rewarding, as it gives the opportunity to give back to the community she was born and raised in. She is part owner of House of Style Event Planning & Design as well as owner of Amazing Graze Charcuterie, and So Fetch Media. She loves bringing new and different activities to the area for people to enjoy. Beyond any title she could be given, her favorite one is "Mom". She is typically seen carrying an iced coffee around everywhere and you usually hear her before you see her.
Codi Austreim is no stranger to the Williston Community Builders. She has been involved with Williston Community Builders (and prior to that, Williston Friendly Faces) since 2012. When the group set a goal of growing its membership, Codi stepped down from the board, giving up her position to help foster a new generation of WCB. She stayed active with the organization and recently accepted a nomination to return to the board.
Codi is the proud mom of twin daughters, Alex and Averi (age 12), who have been a huge motivation for her wanting to make a positive impact in the community. They are watching and learning from the examples set and have been actively volunteering with their mom since they can remember.
Codi runs her family's businesses, coaches youth sports, and serves on the board of the Williston Coyote Foundation and the Williston Basin Basketball Club as well. She is married to Jaden, who, even though he is frequently voluntold to help, also enjoys serving the community at the many events run by the Williston Community Builders!
Lexi is one of our newest board members, but has been volunteering her time for the past 2 years. She loves pizza with no cheese and black hills gold jewelry. She collects Pepsi bottle caps and is gunning for the Guniness Book of World Record spot for longest poem ever written. In her free time she pretty much lives in Vegas and plays softball on 42 different teams. Her favorite quote is, "There's no crying in baseball."
